So The Terrorists Have Won...

And that's why they can get away with perpetrating acts of terror on our legislators with impunity. I read this and got quite literally ill; physically. That's only happened to me because of written material maybe 3 or 4 times. One was the sociopathic "feminist" Valarie Solanas; the woman who shot Andy Warhol. She has a hate-screed about killing all the men and WHY we really need to do so. Only ten percent of men would be left, and they have to be "turd-men" who are actively seeking their own destruction. (Laugh, people did - but prominent women's studies professor Mary Daly advocates precisely that in an academic setting, and gets paid to do it.) Next time a feminist tells you she won't read anything anti-feminist because it's "ugly" send her a copy of the S.C.U.M. Manifesto by Solanas - it's feminist, after all. Required reading for most women's studies courses. And it's as ugly as writing is possible to get.

Anyway, that was one time. This is another. I...I'm stunned. It's sick.

The Obama administration, which refuses to allow any of its representatives to appear on Fox News, proudly boasts that it has “a great relationship” with the anti-American Al-Jazeera television network.

That part didn't do it; but as we go on...

Seven years after then-Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld called the broadcaster’s reporting “vicious, inaccurate and inexcusable” and President George W. Bush joked about bombing it, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton praised it as “real news” in her recent Senate testimony.

Al Jazeera. AL JAZEERA. THIS is who our administration is cozying up to? To what extent? It gets worse, much worse.

Not only that, her staffers, as well as those of the CIA and the Obama White House, were attending the Congressional Correspondents’ Dinner as Al-Jazeera’s guests.

“They are a really important media entity, and we have a really great relationship with them,” said Dana Shell Smith, the State Department’s deputy assistant secretary for international media engagement, who speaks Arabic and has frequently appeared on the channel. “This administration has empowered those of us who actually do the communicating to be in a close relationship with Al-Jazeera. They understand that the relationship can’t consist of complaining to each other about the differences we have.”

That did it. Except that wasn't all. It still gets worse. Yes.

… “The emir of Qatar come by the Oval Office today, and he owns Al-Jazeera basically,” Obama said in remarks recorded by CBS News’s Mark Knoller. “Pretty influential guy. He is a big booster, big promoter of democracy all throughout the Middle East. Reform, reform, reform. You’re seeing it on Al-Jazeera.”

The WHO came by WHERE? We're giving a terrorist organization access to the WHITE HOUSE now? What makes it so bad is that two years ago this would have been utterly unthinkable and you would NEVER have to worry about this happening. Omg, it doesn't get better. Every time I read this shit I get sicker. 8 years we fight the terrorists and in two this guy has turned it around 180 and having them to tea. All that blood, all those people who jumped to their deaths, all our boys who went over never to return...and we're best friends forever BFFs! with the media outlet who empowered the enemy. "Complaining about our differences"? Are you fucking kidding me? This isn't about DIFFERENCES; these are our ENEMIES. This is treason. My worst fears have indeed been confirmed. First we let in the communists and now we let in the terrorists. This earth is satan's dominion for sure.

WHY DIDN'T I TAKE THE BLUE PILL? Wake me up; I'm having a monster nightmare!

via: I Hate the Media

While you're here; I just came across this old link to Jezebel - why feminists HATE Sarah Palin so viscerally. Surprisingly, she openly admits the real reason - they're jealous! And ugly. (Jeez, seeing someone talk about "ugliness" in the feminist movement...has she ever seen Andrea Dworkin??? Google it; I'm not putting her here.)

Mandatory Viewing

While I can't say I'm HAPPY with what this man is saying, I can say I'm thrilled to have him saying it to these chipper morning type media hosts, and I can say I'm thrilled to hear it coming from a "political atheist" who has no dog in the fight except for following trends and stating the obvious - the **real world** effects of things. As dire as the news is, I'm glad it's getting out there! We've only been saying it for 9 months; it's time to hear the rest of the world getting the picture and not these ludicrous proclamations from leftist bloggers and newspapers and anchorpeople who don't know their asses from a hole in the ground.

And this Town Hall thing - I'm simply dumbfounded. They took a recess so they could face their constituents and HEAR what the people REALLY thought of this plan. People are angry and they don't want it. Instead of listening to that message, they accused them of being astroturfed (not grassroots - sent there by insurance companies and the DNC); the speaker of the House called them Nazis, Lanny Davis recommended they all be photographed and investigated, and Prince Obama himself encouraged all people speaking out against health care centralization be reported to the White House site. For what we don't know, but it sounds like enemies lists. The left's response to this? To send out countertroops - TRUE astroturfed phony activists, to combat the "faux outrage" they believe they are seeing from rank and file Americans. Holy shit. We have become a banana republic already (fitting since the monkeys are all in charge now, I supposea) and I never thought I'd see the day. Yes, you bet we're gonna be seeing tent cities and ghost malls within a couple years. There's no doubt about it.

I think what makes me maddest about that is that people will still be saying, "Look what Bush did to us!" What makes me saddest about this is we fucking deserve it. I don't, you don't, but as a group, you bet we do. We failed to stop the coming evil and we are paying the price. We kept control of the houses of power and lost the houses of education to the enemy. We kept seats and they kept the media. And the people in those seats went soft - or maybe they always were. We gave it away. Yes it's been a long time coming but I've never seen anything like this and neither have you. The true demise of a Republic. How heartbreaking it is.

Take a look at one Town Hall meeting here; where Tea Party Protestors were stranded outside and half the hall was "reserved" for Union thugs who were fully briefed on keeping the conversation in favor of Obamacare. Did anyone ever tell them about how protesting and the first amendment works, or are they so wrapped up in their phony astroturfed THUG version of it, that it doesn't get through their tiny little brains anymore? Seriuosly, look at these pictures and video and tell me that doesn't chill your BLOOD. Where the hell ARE we? This isn't the United States of America - it can't. possibly. be.

Welcome Track-a-Crat

Found a great new blog - well, I'm assuming it's great based on this one post, and since this one post is that frickin' awesome, I think it's a safe assumption. Here is a portion of it but you'll have to go to Track-a-Crat to get the relevant links that prove all of these assertions. I had just heard that horrible story about the little boy turned away from Michelle Obama's hospital (that fake job thingie where she made lots-n-lots of money) and I'm going to ask the Obama-care supporters - IS THAT REALLY WHAT YOU FUCKING WANT YOU CRETINOUS NEOTENOUS FUCKS?! ARE YOU STUPID?! Here's the smoking gun on Obama care and what you really have to look forward to - patient-dumping while crooked politicos and their worthless beast wives and friends make a fortune "working" these hospitals:

Then again, I’d be that happy if I’d worked for the University of Chicago Hospitals.

The perks are magnificent: should your spouse get elected to the State Senate, then your salary is automatically tripled!

If you decide to take a year off work, then you still get paid $63,000 for that year!

Plus your job is really only half a job, but it was seperated into its own position on account of your hubby’s standing!

And what did Michelle have to do in return?

Why, nothing more than turn away “urban” patients from the hospital. Easy peasy, lemon squeezy.

Which included the unfortunate Dontae Adams, who, after a pit bull tore off his upper lip, was given a tetanus shot, antibiotics and Tylenol, then promptly told to scram. He subsequently had to take an hour-long bus ride to another hospital for surgery.

Welcome to the Anniee Hall of Fame, the PurelyPolitics Walk of Life, Track-a-Crat.

Buzzing Terrorists - UPDATE!

It's a fine and fitting end to the almighty ONE! HUNDRED! DAYS!!!11!!ELEVENTYONE!! Apparently not satisfied with merely having terrorist friends and fellating terrorist foreign leaders, Obama seems to actually want to BE a terrorist. So long, it is assumed, that it doesn't interfere with manicures, having pizza flown in from LA, and keeping the heat up high enough to grow orchids in the winter. In order to get a photo op - they had several shots of the pretty plane (looks like Air Force 1 accompanied by a fighter jet) at the Statue of Liberty but, hey, those were prolly dirty Bush photos or somethin' (no, that makes no sense - he wasn't a camera whore and he was only 9 months in when 9/11 happened, so the photos were prolly Clinton era) or whatever the reason, he needed pretty new pictures of Air Force 1 lookalike and a fighter jet buzzing New York City. There was no warning, so the people panicked, many evacuated, and in fact, were terrorized. It's heartening to know that the new president comforts terrorist dictators and sends money to Hamas terrorists and worries about whether we were too hard on the terrorist Khalid Sheikh Mohammed while deliberately causing terror in the hearts of American citizens. You think I'm exaggerating? Well I'm not.

Isn't that just special, does it warm the cockles of your heart? Cockles, I'm told, are small, limp cocks, like leftists have. So why was there no warning? Well they COULDN'T warn us, they explain. It just wouldn't have been smart. Much smarter to just terrify the people of the city to get a prettier picture. Photoshop would be just too boring, and if you use it you run the risk of having it end up on Photoshopdisasters so why take a chance, right?

But at least they had a good explanation, a backup plan for what to tell people about this, right? Didn't they? Well, let's see what the press guy says:

Oops. I will say one thing. Melissa McEwan, it really IS good to have the grownups in charge again, isn't it? LOL. I swear I'm going to try to remember to bring that up every time something THIS colossally childish happens.

Now riddle me this. With ALL the hay that was made of the video of Palin standing in front of the turkeys as they were being slaughtered (which I thought was pretty funny and at least didn't strike at people's deepest and most realistic fears or PTSD) do you think the media coverage of this abortion is going to be THROWN at us day and night like that was? Or is it going to remain a small, insignificant story, quickly swept under by the latest allegation they can think of against Republicans tomorrow (releasing some new memos or a new report or something - Clinton used to bomb aspirin factories, Obama has to think up other stuff so far. Like Buzzing New York LOL).

Oh, I checked out this mortgage help that's supposed to help struggling homeowners. You *might* be able to get your interest rate lowered if your mortgage is from Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac. You can also pay a couple grand for a lawyer to tell you you're screwed. Either way you are. What was it, 900 million to help people struggling with mortgages? Yeah, it's not going to help anyone do anything. My advice - which is pretty hard in this economy - take a second job and pay it. Scale back to the bare minimum lifestyle and sell off what you don't need. Of course, be ready to move if it doesn't work. The Messiah is not going to help you with your mortgage. That money is going nowhere except into the pockets of people who don't need it. All the gold foil is off the tin god.

UPDATE:

Federal officials knew that sending two fighter jets and Air Force One to buzz ground zero and Lady Liberty might set off nightmarish fears of a 9/11 replay, but they still ordered the photo-op kept secret from the public.

In a memo obtained by CBS 2 HD the Federal Aviation Administration's James Johnston said the agency was aware of "the possibility of public concern regarding DOD (Department of Defense) aircraft flying at low altitudes" in an around New York City. But they demanded total secrecy from the NYPD, the Secret Service, the FBI and even the mayor's office and threatened federal sanctions if the secret got out.

But at least Bloomberg's aide was reprimanded. Transparency. Fury. It's all here.

Could Have Been Yesterday...

Stephen McCarthy of Xtremely Un-PC and Unrepentant (blog link on the roll) tipped me off to this cartoon that's making the rounds. The faces have changed, but the truth hasn't. This could have been written yesterday. We've known it was coming - why haven't we stopped it in all this time? Why have we allowed ourselves to be boiled in the vat of creeping socialism all along? Only now to have the BIG GUNS released in one fell swoop? Intelligence agencies destroyed and now useless, nationalization of everything, impossible and outlandish spending...well read 'em and weep. Click to embiggen.

The text reads as follows:

The banner across the top reads: "Planned Economy Or Planned Destruction?"

The bottle in the fist of the college scholar shouting "Whoopee!" is labeled "Power." The sign below them reads: "Young Pinkies from Columbia and Harvard."

The sign at the back of the wagon, below the drawing of Wallace shoveling money out, reads: "Depleting the resources of the soundest government in the world."

To the right, Stalin says approvingly, "How Red the sunrise is getting!"

And the piece de resistance: To the left is Trotsky (where else would you expect to find Trotsky?) who says, "It worked in Russia!" And on the poster he's creating it reads: "PLAN OF ACTION FOR U.S. --- Spend! Spend! Spend under the guise of recovery - Bust the government - Blame the capitalists for the failure - Junk the Constitution and declare a dictatorship."

I'll leave you to consider what's going on and where we are headed with this. We've taken it slow but we're there now. The beast is loose in the streets of Nazareth, the rats are in the corn...and God knows what rough beast, its hour come 'round at last, slouches towards Bethlehem to be born.

Too Thick, Too Fast

The news, she's coming too thick, too fast. None of us can keep up. Captain Entropy (otherwise known as Chairman Zero or "President Obama" to some) just keeps hurtling forward towards universal destruction - apologizing to the world for the United States instead of reminding them that without us they would not be able to live the lives they do. Calling us arrogant instead of celebrating our liberty (he doesn't care about liberty - have you ever even heard the man speak of liberty? I haven't. He certainly doesn't want a free populous; you can't enslave a free populace.)

Pelosi knew about waterboarding, she knew it was legal, she knew it had been approved for use, and she approved. Now she says "So, I knew about it, that doesn't mean I knew they would DO it. I just knew they said they COULD do it and that it was legal."

No one releases the information on how effective the advanced interrogations were and how they stopped further attacks that WERE going to take place on our own soil. Instead this is glossed over and we have brought ourselves to the point where another attack is absolutely inevitable - and is surely being planned out by operatives priorly released from Club Gitmo as we speak. How many lives will we pay this time?

See, this COULD have possibly been just as much of a travesty as the Carter administration - you know, the economic ruin, the misery index, gas rationing, double digit inflation, double digit unemployment, poverty, skyjackings, and hostages in Iran. Except this is Carter cubed. We're not going to get away with a piddling little depression this time - it's the full monty. We're not going to get away with just a few hostages who are eventually released - this time it's going to take a dirty nuke on US soil. Alien hordes invading from the South and making Phoenix the kidnapping capitol of the world (second only to Mexico city) are now to be encouraged and abetted - courtesy of the Department of Homeland Security, who was in charge of Arizona as Phoenix BECAME a cesspool of terror. She's more worried about finding out who's Catholic and who's a veteran and who's pro-life, because they might pose a threat to Chairman LMAO's plans for global domination.

I'm sorry, folks, this is a fucking Gordian knot, and it just keeps coming and coming and coming, every day. I hear leftards happily proclaiming the Bush era of "sick fear" over, but the fact is that the more that Obama tries to hang Bush, the more it turns out that Bush is proven right time and time again. The more they endanger us all. The more that "sick fear" becomes a *very realistic fear* and in fact an inevitability.

On September 11, 2001, war was officially declared on us by a faceless, country-less enemy. That enemy has not ceased its war against us; we have merely beaten them back and prevented further attacks. We made a start at a civilized society in Iraq that will no longer aid and abet this enemy, which relies on friendly, Islamic foreign host countries in which to fester and operate and plan. We succeeded. Our men did a fine job. We continued to beat back the enemy at the gates even if it meant he had to suffer a caterpillar in his tent, God help us. And now we're pissing it all away on a pipe dream, to imagine trillions of dollars into existence by sheer force of will (and a printing press) in order to bankrupt and destroy the entire free market.

The press behaves no better than - and in fact quite a bit worse than - Squealer of Animal Farm. They make no pretense of being impartial, fair, objective, or trying to report facts. They are on a mission. An Omission. Why the mission is to destroy us I still don't understand, but it seems to have to do with guilt. Especially white guilt. It's American guilt. Guilt that we were the greatest country on earth, guilt that we had it so much better than other countries because we MADE it better than other countries. Guilt that we had liberty while others were in chains. Guilt that we could produce and advance and share with those who had less, because they simply never should have had less in the first place. Guilt that says the pendulum must swing all the way in the other direction before it can balance, and if that means our constitution and our way of life be destroyed, so be it.

At any rate, I can't keep up with it all any more than you can - the news is moving way too fast. Each new day of this nightmare brings fresh hell with it. So please, keep yourself informed - my blogroll is pretty darn good for that - but there's no way I'm going to get to it all. It's bad enough that the pieces keep adding up the way they do. I'm so figuring on renting out my house and getting the fuck out of this country for a while. I'm thinking Banff.

Update: Actually, this was in part spurred by a comment made to me about something I've been noticing but haven't put into words yet. See, during the election, while a few of us quietly kept to ourselves and discussed the possibility that McCain/Palin could very well lose, and the unthinkable alternative, the rest of the company was awash in bravado, optimism, cheerfulness, schadenfreude "Bush is gone! Obama's gonna do it! In yer FACE!" and loud, braying voices. Despite that the news is coming thick and fast and hard, those voices are no longer loud, they are no longer braying, there is no sense of optimism, cheerfulness, or schadenfreude. It has been replaced by a sort of wondering dread if the topic comes up. That's actually not an exaggeration. A McCain voter who is not very political minded went so far as to praise Obama for bringing the boys home, and...none of the Obamaniacs said a word this time. This is way beyond buyer's remorse; it's something I've never really seen. Sort of like a socialist president is something I've never seen. But I can take no joy in it, because it's at our expense that they took their moment of schadenfreude. At any rate this is what I see in real life. That and a few die-hards. The place where I'm seeing the desperate covering, the putting on of that now-phony cheerfulness and optimism, the continuing schadenfreude and triumphal braying? Online. Online and in the press. That's where you find it. It's phony. Go out among the real people. Go to the places that were the loudest and most obnoxious for Obama and take a real look around you. See who's chanting now. The Spahn Ranch is empty, man.

Shark-Jumping

On the same day I find out that the aftermath of that unprofessional bitch reporter's actions were FALSELY removed due to a NON-copyright violation (how the hell did they convince anyone it was their footage when it was a third party? Who paid who off to get it taken down? The purge, it begins...) I come across this piece, which frankly makes me feel filthy. I mean Happy Days, OK...why not? It's from Happy Days that the term "Jump the Shark" even originates so it's OK to use it to any ill ends. Oh, hell, whatever, I don't have so many fond memories of Andy Griffith either. I always thought he was an asshole for not carrying a gun, and the one guy who DID was a complete buffoon who always shot himself in the foot. I still feel dirty, but not for the reasons I originally thought. Opey - you just go on back to Mayberry, why don't you - or your imagined Mayberry of Europe. After all, they can only live in Mayberry because we defend the whole fucking lot of them.

In a brief note on this nonsense in which the so-called "torture memos" were released without the accompanying memos on the invaluable information that was gathered as a result of enhanced interrogations (not torture, sorry) - including the PREVENTION of Wave 2, planned and operational to attack the left coast - I heard someone make a really excellent point. Two (possibly 3) of the prisoners were waterboarded; problem with the "War Crimes" kooks is that waterboarding is not even legally torture. If they were so gung-ho on prosecuting Cheney et. al. for torture and war crimes for putting a caterpillar in with a detainee - an ENEMY COMBATANT - then why don't they go ahead and MAKE waterboarding illegal and make it torture legally? They could do it in a heartbeat. So why aren't they doing it?

Because that would prove what we've known all along, that it WASN'T illegal and it wasn't TORTURE to begin with. To make it illegal/torture now would put the nail in that coffin, wouldn't it now? Not that the memos shouldn't have DONE that already. Non-issue, move on. Next person to say war crimes gets dismissed as a mere, worthless nutjob, a hysteric with nothing real to say.

"Crappy Nappy"

Phoenix is now the kidnapping capitol of the US, and almost of the world (right behind Mexico city.) Illegals from drug cartels have been crossing into Phoenix unchecked and wreaking plenty of havoc, all right. Under Jean Napolitano's watch.

Well thank God she's out of there now, and maybe with a responsible governor they can do something about the problem.

Uh-oh. I just remembered something. She's now in charge of Homeland Security. Well, at least she promised us we won't have to worry about all those dangerous Canadians sneaking in - that's the border she intends to defend. I guess defending the other one would be too hard. Maybe we can surpass Mexico as the kidnapping capitol of the world in the next couple years! H/T to Moonbattery.

Dissing the Brits

I'm dumbfounded. Via Newsbusters:

Barack Obama loves Lincoln. It seems not a day goes by that he isn't quoting the Civil War icon or comparing himself to that great man. But it looks like we are finding one great leader that Barack Obama doesn't like so much: Winston Churchill.

It appears that President Obama is dissing the Brit's most famous and stalwart leader by quickly returning the most famous bust of the man loaned to this country by the United Kingdom in the aftermath of 9//11. The return of the bust of Churchill flustered the British government because they didn't ask for it to be returned. Our best ally was nonplussed and even quickly told Obama he could keep it in the Oval Office where Bush had displayed the piece of art. Obama told them no thanks which made the Brits even more amazed.

So, Barack Obama, the man that would "fix" our "bad image" with the rest of the world, we were told by the media, has just dissed Churchill after only a month in office? And, according to one of the only stories I can find on this incident, the British government has been made nervous about the relationship between England and the U.S. because of the casual return of their generously loaned Churchill bust.

{snip}Again... wasn't Obama the one that was going to make every ally ecstatically happy?

Actually, I think that was "make every ENEMY ecstatically happy."

But Obi-wan isn't fit to polish Churchill's shoes, at any rate. Maybe having the bust there shamed him - it ought to have. Let's see why:

"I will not pretend that if I had to choose between communism and Nazism I would choose communism."

There is no such thing as a good tax.

Some see private enterprise as a predatory target to be shot, others as a cow to be milked, but few are those who see it as a sturdy horse pulling the wagon.

The inherent vice of capitalism is the unequal sharing of blessings; the inherent virtue of socialism is the equal sharing of miseries.

We contend that for a nation to tax itself into prosperity is like a man standing in a bucket and trying to lift himself up by the handle.

Churchill: “If I were your husband I would take it.”

By the way, Lady Astor sure got her licks in on Churchill, too; see here. These two were great at verbal sparring and comebacks!

From Stettin in the Baltic to Trieste in the Adriatic, an iron curtain has descended across the Continent. -“The Sinews of Peace” speech, Westminster College, Fulton, Missouri, March 5, 1945

If Hitler invaded hell I would make at least a favorable reference to the devil in the House of Commons.

Those who can win a war well can rarely make a good peace and those who could make a good peace would never have won the war.

Courage is the first of human qualities because it is the quality that guarantees all the others.

The problems of victory are more agreeable than those of defeat, but they are no less difficult.

If you will not fight for right when you can easily win without blood shed; if you will not fight when your victory is sure and not too costly; you may come to the moment when you will have to fight with all the odds against you and only a precarious chance of survival. There may even be a worse case. You may have to fight when there is no hope of victory, because it is better to perish than to live as slaves.

We shall not flag or fail. We shall go on to the end. We shall fight in France, we shall fight on the seas and the oceans, we shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength in the air, we shall defend our island, whatever the cost may be. We shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills; we shall never surrender.

Hitler knows that he will have to break us in this island or lose the war. If we can stand up to him, all Europe may be free and life of the world may move forward into broad, sunlit uplands. But if we fall, then the whole world, including the United States, including all that we have known and cared for, will sink into the abyss of a new Dark Age made more sinister, and perhaps more protracted, by the lights of perverted science.

Let us therefore brace ourselves to our duties, and so bear ourselves that, if the British Empire and its Commonwealth lasts for a thousand years, men will still say, “This was their finest hour!”

Actually, it's no wonder jugears didn't want to be reminded of this great statesman, is it? It's shameful that a man who stands against everything Churchill stood for should occupy our white house. Boehner on the House Floor:

I'm with Emperor Misha on this one - fuck him, too. They knew Obama lied about letting the people SEE this stuff before it was passed, and react to it, they KNEW it was the most enormous turd EVER to come out of Washington, and all they could do was "not vote for it"? Why didn't they fight it to the fucking mat? Screw 'em.

And get this - this bill that was so urgent, so desperately needed to pass NOW - will not be signed by the President until Tuesday, because he had a 3-day weekend vacation coming. 3 days that the bill COULD have been read by congress and discussed, as well as been put up on the website for the public to read and give feedback. But it had to pass NOW or NEVER. Republicans are "obstructionists" for not wanting to pass something they hadn't read and didn't have time to read. Up is down, slavery is freedom, ignorance is strength. Unreal.

February 10, 2009

Excuse Me? I Was Told There Would Be Obstructionists?

So where the hell were they on this one? Why didn't somebody block this fucking thing? They've hidden all this shit in there that is drastically unconstitutional and shreds our individual liberty, autonomy, and privacy to pulp. Instead of, as would be customary for something that has NOTHING to do with economic stimulus, having, say, a proposal, a bill, a DISCUSSION and then a VOTE - they just snuck this abortion into a bill where it doesn't belong, and torched our autonomy in the process.

And let me just say now, TO EVERY ASSHOLE BLOGGER/JOURNALIST (YES, AMANDA MARCOTTE AND JESSE TAYLOR AND EZRA KLEIN AND KEVIN HENDRICKS MELISSA MCEWAN AND ALL THE REST OF YOU) WHO KEPT SAYING TIME AFTER TIME THAT OBAMA'S HEALTH CARE PLAN WAS GOING TO BE FINE BECAUSE IF YOU HAD INSURANCE YOU LIKED YOU COULD JUST KEEP IT THE WAY IT WAS - WELL FUCK ALL OF YOU, YOU GO TO HELL AND YOU DIE, AND YOU WERE COMPLETELY, POSITIVELY FUCKING WRONG. I TOLD YOU ASSHOLES THAT AT THE TIME!

That's better. Because the reality now is that there is NO opting out of this, and doctors who fail to report your EVERY visit, EVERY prescription, EVERY concern, test, or issue, EVERY cold, EVERY wart, EVERY Xanax TO THE FEDS - yes, TO THE FEDS to keep in a database - will be PENALIZED at the sole discretion of the HHS Czar. The National Coordinator of Health Information Technology, will **monitor treatments to make sure your doctor is doing what the federal government deems appropriate and cost effective**. If you're costing them too much, they are going to tell you to fuck off - EVEN IF IT'S UNDER YOUR OWN INSURANCE, EVEN IF YOU ARE PAYING FOR IT YOURSELF OUT OF POCKET. There is no "opt-out" in this Trojan Horse. But before the euthanasia starts, the elderly are going to be hit. Hard. The author of this Obamination has stated that old people are going to have to start just dealing with the diseases and problems that come with old age instead of treating them, and we're going to have to stop demanding so much from health care.

The children will be hit, and those who are most in need of health care are going to get creamed, and the fat people are going to be obliterated, and smokers will probably just explode.

Now we can ALL die of poor health care - you remember how we told you that SOCIALISM isn't a rising tide that lifts all boats, but rather SINKS them to the lowest common denominator? We will all now be equal partners in misery and ill health - now whether you can afford it or not, you can not get adequate health care. Instead of figuring out a way to help people who are down on their luck get treated more easily, you've just condemned us ALL to the shitheap.

Thanks a lot, socialist fucktards. Did you really think you weren't going to see armed revolution in your lifetime if you managed to FORCE all the rest of us to live by your evil socialist plans? Forget it. You all bought this one, and it's NOT going to be pretty. I'm willing to die for my liberty - are you willing to die to take it from me?

Let 'Em Heat Cake - Sacrifice and Slavery

No end in sight in Kentucky.

Meanwhile:

You see, the reason the president --- and others -- were jacketless was simple: "Mr. Obama, who hates the cold, had cranked up the thermostat."

After all, it's freezing cold out there, and as White House senior advisor David Axelrod reminded us, "He's from Hawaii, O.K," adding that "He likes it warm. You could grow orchids in there."

Could this be the same Barack Obama who said last May that:

"We can't drive our SUVs and eat as much as we want and keep our homes on 72 degrees at all times... and then just expect that other countries are going to say 'OK.' ... That's not leadership. That's not going to happen."

And could this be the same Barack Obama who is looking to sign a stimulus bill that would spend billions of dollars installing millions "smart meters" that would enable your power company to prevent you from being as comfortable as he is on hot and cold days?

While President Bambi is warm-and-toasty in the Oval Office, is he considering the plight of Michigan's Marvin Schur, a 93-year World War II veteran, who was recently found frozen to death courtesy of a malfunctioning electricity "limiter" device installed by his power company?

He also seems to think it's pretty funny the way some people react like pussies about a little ice - they should all be tough Chicagoans like him.

It only stands to reason that where there's sacrifice, there's someone collecting the sacrificial offerings. Where there's service, there is someone being served. The man who speaks to you of sacrifice is speaking of slaves and masters, and intends to be the master. Ayn Rand.

I think that much is abundantly clear.

Pondering the Banner

The upside down flag has great and grave meaning. But being in flux, I am not sure I will continue flying it as such. LC Subotai's post gives me pause:

A slightly different take, if I may. At my house, the US colors have until today flown every day since the moment that I saw the airliners hit on 9/11. When I moved to my current house, I installed a real flagstaff instead of the jury-rigged one I had at the old place. It has 3 sets of shackles on the halyard. I flew US colors over the First Navy Jack [the naval version of the rattlesnake flag that was the first set of US colors flown by the Continental Navy], over the colors of one of our allies in the war; primarily either the UK, our Aussie brothers, or Israel.

From today, I fly only the First Navy Jack, which the Secretary of the Navy ordered flown on all Navy vessels until the war is won. While I am sure that Hussein Pasha thinks he is done with the war, most assuredly the war is not done with us. The US colors have been safely stored. I am somewhat of a historian. I know that there are times when countries are under the occupation of hostile and foreign forces. We are in that place now. Just as patriots in such cases hide their national colors until they can fly freely again in peace or in war, I will await the day when we have a legitimate president and a government loyal to the Constitution again.

When I was an active Peace Officer, I was required by law to render aid in any emergency, even when off duty. It was my luck, good or bad, to find myself as first responder fairly frequently, when off duty. Since I retired, I am under no such compulsion. If I should find myself as a first responder again, and there is any indication that the victims are supporters of the Usurper, they can pray to him for help. They are not my countrymen.
