Stupidity on Display

Travis sometimes asks me why I slum around at such weird places online. Well, I like to know what the left "thinks." But it never ceases to amaze me that it hasn't ceased to amaze me the stupidity of your typical radical leftist. Why would I ever be surprised? They are of course whining that Obama's not destroying the economy and the entire system of government in the US quickly enough or quite the WAY they would, and they're mad that he's not doing it their way. What the hell do they care, the results are the same either way - Cloward-Piven meets Alinsky is still moving full speed ahead so what the fuck are they bitching about? Well, here's one; and it's gotta take idiot quote of the week. In reaction to some obvious morons proclaiming that Obamacare will not necessarily destroy all private insurance companies - obviously a proclamation being falsely made to allay the fears of millions who have a shred of a brain and know what that would really mean (or at least have an inkling) McEwan declares,

First of all, any government health plan that isn't good enough to drive private insurers out of business...isn't good enough, period.

Holy shit. No, you didn't read that wrong. I don't think she comprehends that of course, it is designed to and WILL put private insurers out of business; and it's written into the bill to begin with (guess she hasn't read much of it, like page 16.) Or that these people are out there claiming it won't do what it was designed to do because they want to get it passed and the only way to do that is to lie about what it is designed to do. Because people have some small idea what it is supposed to do, what it WILL do, and they don't want that. So you have to just bald-faced lie to them and tell them it won't happen. But see, she's so out there, so fucking looney-tunes, that she wants them to DO all this - to destroy the economy and our way of life utterly - while PROCLAIMING LOUDLY that that is exactly what they're doing, and screw anyone who doesn't like it. Honey, it doesn't work that way. That's like surprise buttsex without lube - you're not going to get most people to accept it; you have to slip it in a little more subtly than that, or didn't anyone ever teach you that open revolution and open coups have very very unpredictable (and often catastrophic) results? Grow up, put on your damn big girl pants and be glad - he's DOING IT ANYWAY.

Fortunately for you, you're looking like you'll get your socialist society complete with hellcare. Unfortunately for you, it is not designed to provide excellent health care to anyone, much less everyone. You're just too goddamn stupid to understand what it's really about. For the people with half a brain or more, here's a little synopsis from the bill of what we're in store for. I LOVE the part about how the federal government will have realtime access to your personal bank account at ALL TIMES - that's just fucking lovely. Heck, I'll put up the link and a partial list:

• Page 124: No company can sue the government for price-fixing. No “judicial review” is permitted against the government monopoly. Put simply, private insurers will be crushed.

• Page 127: The AMA sold doctors out: the government will set wages.

• Page 145: An employer MUST auto-enroll employees into the government-run public plan. No alternatives.

• Page 126: Employers MUST pay healthcare bills for part-time employees AND their families.

• Page 149: Any employer with a payroll of $400K or more, who does not offer the public option, pays an 8% tax on payroll

• Page 150: Any employer with a payroll of $250K-400K or more, who does not offer the public option, pays a 2 to 6% tax on payroll

• Page 167: Any individual who doesnt’ have acceptable healthcare (according to the government) will be taxed 2.5% of income.

• Page 170: Any NON-RESIDENT alien is exempt from individual taxes (Americans will pay for them).

• Page 195: Officers and employees of Government Healthcare Bureaucracy will have access to ALL American financial and personal records.

• Page 203: “The tax imposed under this section shall not be treated as tax.” Yes, it really says that.• Page 239: Bill will reduce physician services for Medicaid. Seniors and the poor most affected.”

• Page 241: Doctors: no matter what speciality you have, you’ll all be paid the same (thanks, AMA!)

• Page 253: Government sets value of doctors’ time, their professional judgment, etc.

• Page 265: Government mandates and controls productivity for private healthcare industries.

• Page 268: Government regulates rental and purchase of power-driven wheelchairs.

• Page 272: Cancer patients: welcome to the wonderful world of rationing!

Of course, Ms. McEwan is also sick of hearing about the August recess because it's important to ram this thing through before anyone has a chance to properly read and debate this monstrosity - just DO IT already, right? Even though she said it's not good enough. Sheer genius, I tell you.

Why Mommy is an Asshole - I mean Democrat

They're at it again! The folks who brought us the timeless children's classic, "Why Mommy is a Democrap" have now brought us "Mama Voted for Obama"! Yay! More mindless fun from mindless people to make our children mindless Obama youth.

That's from the "Daddy" book. See what Dims do? See the implication in the first picture - the helpless children "made safe" from the stampeding elephant - get it, elephant!?!?! - by the kind, gracious Dims?

The mama pajama obama de lama book concludes, it would seem, by telling us how SOME evil Mamas voted for John McCain. And they included a gratuitous swipe at the hapless candidate.

Well, isn't that special? Look it up yourself, I'm not linking that bullshit.

Idiots to the Left and the Right

Ok, seriously, that camera guy's clueless questions - hey, where's everybody going? It's too hilarious. But I don't think they mock this stuff on the Daily Show or whatever the hell leftwing political comedies there are on television.

Many of the other NYU students who watched the revolt fizzle said they still don't know what the rebels wanted.

"They're requesting so many different things," said Ryan Jacobson, a 19-year-old freshman. "None of it actually seems doable."

Senior NYU Vice President Lynne Brown said that whatever it was, the protesters didn't get it.

NYU did not "bend" to student demands, and the malcontents were banned from all NYU buildings until their expulsion hearings, Brown said.

When they took over the cafeteria, the students' stated cause was a demand for greater transparency in the NYU budget.

Bwahaha! THIS is what you send kids to college for. This is why US students literally get dumber for every year they spend in public de-edukation. This is why we elected a communist barrel of monkeys into full charge of the country. This is why people cheer at empty slogans and get tingles up their legs when a black man says "Stimulus." Good lord, what a world.

And from the other corner we get this madness, which is made funny by the guy, well, making fun of it. But isn't it sad that he had 8 full YEARS of such unhinged lunacy to mock on from the left and didn't take the chance to do so? What a hugely wasted comedic potential that is.

The Magical Cloak - Part 2!

So my daughter took a brief hike over to the Quick Chek on the corner last weekend, and it were COLD. So she wore her warm, cozy, luscious cloak. (Now this is her story and I'm going to let her add to it; but since she's going too slow for my tastes I'm starting it. Neiner neiner.) It was about 2:30 AM on a Saturday night.

Suddenly a squad car pulls up and accosts her. A SQUAD CAR? Ok...there IS a curfew in this town; if you're under 18 you're not allowed out after 11PM. Never mind whether that's right or not. She does have a baby face, and looks about 12, depending. So they sometimes stop and check her ID to be sure she's not a kid, then apologize and leave. Not so this time.

THIS time they took her ID and started running her name, asking if she had any outstanding warrants. She said, "Uh, no, I DON'T have any warrants, what's the trouble?" Meantime, police car after police car began pulling up - they do that in these podunk fucking NJ towns - one guy gets a live call and suddenly they ALL show up to see the fun - and she stood there having a cigarette and laughing. Because it was already really dumb.

They told her - and I'm serious - that they received a call in to the station that someone was outside dressed as a SUPERHERO.. A what? Not a Druid? And, pardon me, but when you get insane calls like that, shouldn't it go more like,

"There's a person outside dressed as a WHAT?"

"A...(whispering) superhero."

"And?"

"Well he's OUT THERE. Dressed as a...(whispering) superhero."

"What's he doing, ma'am?"

"He's...(whispering) WALKING."

"Walking? Is he doing anything else?"

Pause.

"(low voice) No."

"Yeah, ok, we'll be sure to check THAT out." Click.

Or perhaps, "Ma'am, put down the vodka bottle and go to bed now."

Instead they send the entire fucking police force to check it out? Are you kidding me?

So while they're RUNNING HER NAME, she asks, "Um, so is there something illegal about wearing a CLOAK?"

Actual answer, "Well, well, no...but we just want to know why you're wearing it." WHAT?

Possible answers:

It is the will of Landrew.

You speak in strange whispers my friend...but you better hurry, it is the red hour.

No more blah blah blah!

Actual answer: "Because it's COLD out here!"

As the other police cars showed up, the accosting officer yelled over to each one in turn, "It's ok! She was just wearing it because she was cold!" and they went off on their merry way.

What in FUCK can be going on here? How in the HELL do police answer such a ridiculous call, and harass an innocent citizen who's walking down the fucking street? She asked them what IF she had been wearing a superhero costume, or a fucking TUTU for that matter...no answer. When they determined she had no warrants, they left her alone. Jesus. She wasn't even carrying a sword. She should try that next time.

Oh the Times, How They Change!

I saw a new ADORABLE collection of letters from little children to the Obamessiah, and decided to compare it to those cute little human interest stories they publish of that sort during the last administration. Quite the difference!!! Let's compare, shall we? Also - it's kinda creepy as hell, because one list reads just like an indictment while the other reads like a PRAYER TO GOD. See if you can tell which!

Letters to President Bush by THE Chillllllldreeen!

Dear President Bush,

We’re almost out of ivory toothpicks and we need a new hedge maze (the old one is too easy). Please give Daddy another tax cut. Pleeeaaassseee? If you do, I’ll get Yolanda to bake you some cookies. She’s from Mexico but don’t tell anyone ‘cuz it’s a big secret.

Chip, age 7

Awww! Isn't that CUTE? See, Bush is bad because people employ illegal immigrants at slave wages and keep it a big secret because they're imperialist assholes. Of course, the left wants illegal immigrants to have full amnesty, so I'm not sure what the hell else they're supposed to do, but hey! Logic need not apply!

Dear President Bush,

Can you really turn back time? Mommy’s life partner says you want to go back to a time when radio was popular and people wore hats and there were tigers everywhere. Just be careful that you don’t accidentally kill your own grandmother or grandfather, because then you wouldn’t exist. It’s a paradox.

Ashley, age 8

Get it? I...think I do. It means Bush is a bigot against lesbians. Or something.

Dear President Bush,

I’m hungry. Mommy lost her second job at Target and now we can’t afford relish or anything. Please put food on my family! Anything you can spare would be great. God bless!

Conny, age 7

See, Bush is starving the chiiiildreeen! And they actually write to the president to tell him they're HUNGRY. Because they wouldn't ask for food at school or anything, they are so hungry that only the president can feed them! Then they say "God Bless" because Bush is a Christofascist Godbag who imposes religion on everyone.

Dear President Bush,

I used to want to be a politician like you, but not anymore. Aunt Lucy says politicians eat pies stuffed with baby birds. I tried to bake a pie like that, and now I’m not allowed in the park anymore, not even just to use the swings. It’s not fair!

Teddy, age 9

Bush was so evil he caused little children to commit violent crimes against animals. Because he hates animals too!

Now let's see what Obi-wan Jugears gets in the way of prayers - er, letters - from children.

I would appreciate it if you would try to make this a greener planet and try to bring home the troops and end the war. I am very luckey because I am not part of a military family, but it saddens me to hear about all the people who die in Iraque and know that somewhere In the world people are greiving over a lost family member.

Oh...I guess that's a little hat tip to how heinous the last administration was, so it's really a letter about teh evil Bush. Which isn't really a CHANGE.

Another child drew Obama as the "new sunrise of America." One made Earth and labeled it "Obamaland," and still another created the president's face as half dark and half light skin tones with the words: "United We Are One."

A sunrise! That's beautiful. And the whole earth Obamaland? Well...I dunno, you might wanna check with Ahmedinejad and Castro and Chavez first...that might be considered a little presumptuous! Though I hear Venezuela just elected its president FOR LIFE! Maybe Obama could do that! Be sure to put up Che posters, too!

"Make fires and earthquakes not exist. Make no tornadoes or any of those things that break things."

Oh, no need to worry - Bush and his evil hurricane-creating-machine have been banished right along with Sauron! I'm pretty sure he ran out of power after using it to create Katrina and drown a city.

An 11-year-old boy from Ohio drew himself in tears at the side of a relative. His dream, he wrote, is that a "cure for cancer will be found" with Obama in the White House, "Because it took my aunt to a better place on father's day."

I'm sure that with healthcare rationing that he just signed into law, which will bring the experimental and exploratory pharmaceutical and medical research to a halt, that THAT dream will come TWUE! Nah, just kidding; she'd be euthanized instead; but probably not on father's day.

Sasha's drawing is an all-green globe. Her enthusiasm for Obama and his ability to get the job done speaks volumes: "I just think he's really, really awesome."

Oh he is, Sasha, he is.

Dear Mr. Obama. Please Make it rain candy! (Or Chocolate Rain?)

Oh, he will, Aaron, he will. Just ask Henrietta and Julio. Some people say the stories of them getting into those meetings and being so perfectly timed were a little fishy, but I'm sure they're just big ol' meanies who hate Santa and eat baby kittens for breakfast. If he'd rain some candy down on Hamas, maybe they'd stop killing off furry children's show hosts and bombing Israel too. Though being a martyr IS a huge draw.

Kiddie shows! Maybe you'll stop blaming Bush and blame the dirty jews if you're carefully taught.

Red or Blue?

I love the Alice In Wonderland/Looking Glass imagery throughout the original Matrix. The other two movies suck wind, IMHO, but that one was pretty damn good.

Anyway, it is with a slightly surreal feeling that I quote one Lew Rockwell here, considering that, as I've stated many times before, he and I parted company more than 7 years ago. If the world were NOTHING but an economy I would have to agree with him; but he seems to forget the existence of insane people bent on destruction, and the need for defense. He even took up an ill-advised jaunt with the Huffington Post. But I really don't want to put a slew of disclaimers around everything I quote from the man (what am I, some PC slave?) because frankly, when it comes to economics there isn't much to argue here. And thus I present some indisputable info from that very source which ought to make its way to the ears of all possible hearers.

Obama's Wealth Destruction

President Obama is under the impression that history owes him $1 trillion right now to spend on whatever he wants. His language is strident and full of irritation that anyone would question his right to live out his personal dream of being Franklin Roosevelt to George Bush's Hoover. This, he says, is what the election was all about.

It just goes to show you that the presidency is something like a drug. It makes people lose all connection to reality. Part of the reality that Obama needs to recognize is that the New Deal was a calamity far worse than the initial market downturn that began it. He needs to stop basing his policies on dumbed-down civics texts versions of events and consider the economic logic.

I believe I just gave a brief rundown of that in my previous post, did I not? The initial downturn is NOT what causes a depression or a prolonged recession. Reagan proved that with that colossal market crash in '87. Oh, the newspapers were trying to scare the SHIT out of us! You know what happened? If you wanted to work, there were MORE jobs available pretty much the next freaking day. You had MORE choice, MORE power as an employee - you could make MORE money and CONTINUE your upward mobility more than ever before. Bad debts were gone; the immense destructive power, the shock and awe of the market only serves the market; and not in the "long run", either. Billions of individuals making billions of individual decisions converging into one ultimate force - the price - these are wondrous, constructive things.

With his rhetoric and policies, he has decided to demonize private enterprise, just as FDR did, as a way to present government as the great savior. Now, think about this. If there is a way out of the recession, it will have to be provided by private enterprise. It will come by new businesses, business expansions, entrepreneurship, new technology, and this will be the source of lasting jobs and prosperity.

Meh, don't blame him; he's echoing (just as Rush Limbaugh doesn't lead but merely echo the sentiment of millions of "Dittoheads") the sentiments of countless lackeys who think just. like. he. does. They've been trained to. The socialists have been in control of the publik de-edukation system and the colleges for a long time, sir. He's doing what we as a people (under the tyranny of the overpopulated, urbanite, latte-sipping city-dwellers have been demanding and demanding for a long time.

You cannot make a country rich by looting taxpayers and paying people to pound nails into siding at public schools! These activities amount to capital consumption. They are not sources of investment. You can say that they are stupid tasks or wonderful tasks, but it is not a matter of ideology as to whether such public projects will make us all wealthier. They will not. They drain the sources of wealth from society. They represent a cost, not a blessing.

I know that, and you know that, and frankly a good many of THEM know that...ask your pal Katie Couric what she thinks as she giggles with Pelosi over raping our civil rights with Porkulus Maximus and how hot Obi-wan is. They DON'T CARE. Those of us who CARE about that have been trying to ram a clue into the GOP while you've been screaming about the war and buddying up with leftists, for whom it will never, ever be enough.

I'm not so cynical about human affairs that I believe that errors must be endlessly repeated. Obama can put a stop to his madness. He needs to know — someone must tell him frankly and openly — that his current path is going to lead not to recovery, but to an extension of suffering, and untold amounts of it.

Well then maybe you're not cynical enough. Maybe you don't KNOW much about Saul Alinski and his disciples (such as Hillary, Wright, Ayers, Obama, et. al.) See, they know it and they WANT it. It gives them massive amounts of power, and THEY aren't the ones suffering under it, are they? Or maybe you haven't read Ayn Rand's discussion of slaves and masters. The man who speaks to you of sacrifice is speaking of slavery, and HE intends to be the master. If he's the master, where's the harm? See, I'm cynical enough to believe that Obama doesn't WANT the country to flourish and prosper but rather to be piddling slaves begging scraps off his and the government's table. We know this from the Soviet Union. THIS is why sometimes WAR is necessary, Mr. Rockwell, even though it is an economic loss. Because there ARE evil people in the world who would make you a slave even if it hurts them in the short or long term.

Go and read the rest of it, if you feel like putting up with the (some of it deserved) Bush-bashing. Say what you want about Bush, he didn't seek to crush the US under his boot and make it his servant.

Economically, he's pretty much spot on. Tragically so.

Take a fucking pill Neo. Which one will it be? If I had the power to erase my own memory and eat a fake steak that tasted good, I just might take the pill that let me do that and remain in ignorance. Unfortunately madness is not a voluntary option. The only really voluntary option in such a case is suicide (not an option for me) and possibly booze (I can do that one, within reason.)

Poor market - making its adjustments. It doesn't know what's about to hit it. Good times WERE just around the corner (not the doom and gloom Obi-wan keeps promising - but hell, even he knows what he's bringing on us.)

Palin Snubs Oprah

Oprah's feeling hurt. I'm not sure how this constitutes news, but leave it to Yahoo, right? Not a site I visit voluntarily, but it's the homepage at work, whaddayagonnado?

I think this is very simple - Sarah Palin has been just absolutely flooded, inundated with offers to speak all over the world. Great - more power to her. Looks like some foreign countries can appreciate people that the left in this country would rather just stomp on.

Apparently, one of these offers to speak came from none other than the blowhard herself, Oprah Winfrey. After she said during the campaign, in her sheer terror of the Thrilla from Wasilla, that she absolutely would NOT be having Sarah Palin on her show. Not that I think Palin necessarily would have gone on anyway - she has some class. But Oprah seems to think everyone is standing around slavering and drooling and panting for a seat on her couch. Maybe some people are, but not anyone I want or need to listen to. Palin's got offers all over the globe; I don't think she needs Oprah anyway.

For the record I used to watch Oprah in the very beginning when she went on television. In those days it was mostly a "freak" show - you'd see people like Michael Alig and company, a lot of transsexuals and transvestites, anything that you just didn't see in the course of your everyday life very much but could be made sensationalistic. She went on the liquid diet and one day came out skinny (I knew that one was a bad, bad idea.) When that failed to stick, she did start doing somewhat more serious topics, but by the time 1990 or so rolled around and I was 23 with two babies, I was already sick of her crap. When she started getting heavy on the new-age, mystical nonsense, that was the absolute end of it for me. Anyway, there were lots of others to choose from. There was Mo Gaffney, Gordon Elliot, Sally Jessy, and a bunch of court shows that were a lot better than talk shows. I never watched Oprah again, until I accidentally caught an episode in 2006. My write-up from the time is below. I bet you were dying to know about my television-watching habits!

But the point is, Oprah is not only puzzled, she's hurt and pissed that Sarah Palin hasn't answered her request.

"I said I would be happy to talk to Sarah Palin when the election was over,” Winfrey tells Extra. “I went and tried to talk to Sarah Palin and instead she talked to Greta [Van Susteren]. She talked to Matt [Lauer]. She talked to Larry [King]. But she didn't talk to me."

Awwww. Oprah? Take the hint. The lady is just too nice to say "Fuck you." But just as she was thinking it really hard at Katie Couric, so hard she stopped giving answers (because it wasn't a real interview), she's thinking it at you. Be glad she's too nice to tell you what she's thinking, or she might scorch you into silence forever. For that matter, Couric ought to be glad of that too.

Yahoo's take on it?

Do you think Palin is avoiding Oprah because she’s intimidated and knows the host is a staunch Obama supporter?
Yeah, that's it, Yahoo - she's intimidated. What the hell is wrong with these people?

For fun, I figured I'd include my reaction to Oprah's stupid show, the one I've actually watched in the last 16 years or so. Since it's still good, I figured I'd share it with you all.

OPRAH - 2006

She hasn't changed. At all. She's still an idiot with a trash TV show. But now she's an idiot with a trash TV show and a great deal of money, power and clout. Not a good thing.

Anyway it caught my interest because Bill and Melinda Gates were going to be on, and it was a two-parter on the "Crisis in Education." Hey guys! We're the government and we f&^%ed up. These things we call schools aren't educating, the city schools are overcrowded and a cesspool of criminal activity that we use to warehouse future inmates as long as possible. This system doesn't work. (Duh.) SO give us more power and more money. (Wtf?) Let us have the children all year and for longer days. (Wtf?) The Gates were touting their experimental school (calling the current system obsolete, which is true) where they are busy training future MS drones. Yes, I said it. There are no books. Yes, that's what I said. NO BOOKS, no lectures in HTH (High Tech High.) It's all hands-on hive training. It's still better than what the government is dishing up, at least MS produces something that people want. They aren't stealing our hard-earned money to finance their indoctrination.

There are some charter schools called KIPP now, the Knowledge is Power Project. They teach their lessons to grade schoolers in Rap. All the lessons are in rap. Yep. Don't ask me. They keep the kids until like 6 PM every day, mandatory summer school, mandatory weekends, 3 hours of homework a night (more rap?) and teachers on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. That's Oprah's idea of the next Great Thing. Apparently more is better. If only *everyone* would graduate and go on to college, the World Will Be a Better Place. Again, don't ask me. (As though the colleges teaching what SHOULD have been taught in grammar and middle school are doing the world a favor - hey, they keep 'em off the streets, and that isn't even my words, it's the proponents' own words.)

They interviewed some of the KIPP kids, about ten years old, to ask what their future goals were. "COLLIDGE" they all loudly proclaimed. The guy asked "Why are you thinking about that now? You're all of ten." One boy answered honestly, "That's what they teach us!" Hey, you can't write this stuff. One HTH girl explained that when Gates was trying to divide the larger school into two smaller ones (one his experimental school) she and her friends were active in protests against it. Once again, do NOT ask me. (I'll ask you - pretty stupid to protest against smaller class sizes when you have 38 desks for 45 students right? Right? But they didn't want it anyway.) But now - oh now, oh glory, she WILL go to college to pursue her lifelong *dream*...wait for it...of being a teacher.

If you can drill it into them long enough how wonderful this thing called "education" is (that isn't what it is, just what it's called) many of them really believe it. Enough of them to think that the longer they stay in it the better. And what's better than, after having spent 16 or more years being drilled as such (and knowing less than any high schooler of a century ago) to "Give Something Back"? How do you do that? Why, by entering the school system yourself, this time on the other side of the desk. I've seen this too many times to count - people hailed as successes because after having spent nearly two decades in school (yet somehow still sounding like unintelligent, poorly taught kids) they have now become administrators in the very same system that kept them off the streets. No real desire to go on to learn something beyond this, nothing to actually DO or pursue - just keep more kids off the streets and in the system, so they can perpetuate it later. On confiscatory tax dollars. Yes, it's a better life than a street life, you get an inflated wage from confiscated money dished out in poorly managed systems under charge of the government, and get to keep others in the government system too. Win-win. Right? Right? Or could it just be that this system is in large part responsible for the poor conditions that lead to "dropouts comprising 84% of those incarcerated in penal institutions"? Has anyone considered that one major result is being mistaken for one major cause? (The poor bastards they talked to in jail were just POSITIVE that had they merely graduated from high school - not learned anything, but graduated mind you) they would not now be in jail. Somehow magically they would have had a good job handed to them, one that paid enough to live on and keep them honest. Boy is that an unrealistic dream - but that's what they were taught; they were all in school long enough to learn that lie. Of course maybe some of them would have gone on to be teachers.

Problem is it's so ingrained into the entire population and so huge, I really can't give an answer. The system has to go, but it's not going to. And it's going to perpetuate itself into a worse one than it is now, just as it has been doing for a long time.

Daily groan: Illinois governor - hehe, lovable little scamp! but Bush/Cheney/Rove? ADOLPH HITLER INDICT HIM AND LOCK HIM UP FOREVER!

LOL YOUR HYPOCRITES!

November 6, 2008

Already?

LOVE the way she browbeats that poor little girl who's father is serving in the military. Disgusting. And people wonder why people opt the hell out of the public school system - duh! No, no indoctrination there - none at all! Idiotic teachers who know nothing, can't speak English, and bully kids...nice.

Anyway, what did I mean, "Already?" Enjoy it; there's going to be at least 4 years of laughter, and we're getting an early leg up. Campaign workers who thought their gas tanks would magically be filled from now on, to get them to the free doctor, while having their mortgages paid by fairies got a little bit of a shock at the "system" eh?

"The line was long and the crowd was angry at times."

Well get used to it; lines are your new way of life. Wait until it's a line for the doctor when you've waited 6 months already. Lines for gas, lines for food, lines for the doctor, lines for rent money - the fun of lines. (I remember them well.) Except they'll be a lot longer.

"I want my money today! It's my money. I want it right now!" yelled one former campaign worker."

It's been redistributed. And zoinks, did you just describe how those of us who pay taxes feel on April 15? Get used to it. Nothing is "yours" in socialism. Sorry. You gave according to your ability and you got what you needed; others need the rest even more.

""Talking about they'll mail it to us. I ain't worried about that, man. They're not going to mail nothin'," said Martin."

Now you're getting the hint.

h/t to The Anti-Idiotarian Rottweiler. Nice doggie!

For a bit of dark humor, I am going to suggest this piece. What I like best is that a piece like this might make it past the Coming Censors For Our Great Leader. You'll see why when you look.

In the meantime two snippets to whet your appetite: "Call me an optimist, but I like to think when America's breadlines erupt into riots it will be because of our shared starvation, not the differences in our color."

"Dr. King said "I have a dream that one day my children will live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character." Let us now take pride that Tuesday we Americans proved that neither thing matters anymore."

Go ahead and read it. You know you want to. It made me laugh :)
