Pontius Pilate Now

So I've heard clips from one prominent Democrat after another proclaiming that Jesus was a community organizer and Pontius Pilate was a governor. Indicating once again, of course, that Obama is a messiah and Palin is a murderous villain. Indicating yet again the utter contempt of the left for Christians and Christianity. I realize there is a subverted, Marxist version of the gospel that is the only form of Christianity that is palatable to the hard left, but it isn't what Christianity is; and Christianity has had a core definition for millenia. And now Jesus the Savior of the World is a fucking community organizer. God help me. Oh, here's the spurious comment from the house floor, for your edification.

Ok I think I've got comments sorted out; and I reposted all previous entries so people could comment. My apologies if you were trying to comment and couldn't.

Oh come on now. The reason for the contrast has nothing to do with any perspective on Christianity and everything to do with the diminishing comments made by Gov. Palin about the work of community organizers during her speech at the RNC. If you're going to be critical, at least be accurate.

Don't pay much attention to the cultural landscape do we?

And pot? Meet kettle. (They can both be white if you like.) You have GOT to be kidding if you are blaming Palin for her response (yes, response) to Obamalama and co.'s ridicule of her tenure as "mayor of a tiny town" (while entirely ignoring her experience as governor.) To say she was diminishing his experience is to play coy and play dumb, and I'm not interested in people who play those games. Now stop giving me "stabby pains" or I won't let you play in my sandbox. Heh.

Stalin was a community organizer. As were lots of other murderous fascists. Bill Clinton, the First Black President, was a governor.

...their point is, again?

Making fallacious logical connections is a two-way street.

Excellent point.

When all the Obama supporters and media pushes a meme like this, it is SO obvious that it was approved at the highest levels, i.e. the Obamination himself.

Does a better example of hubris exist?!
